Alumni and supporters of STAHS are warmly invited to attend A Service of Nine Lessons and Carols taking place at St Albans Cathedral at 19.00 on Thursday 12 December 2024. This is always a very special event and a wonderful way to mark the festive season.

We would also be delighted for alumni and supporters to come together before the service for a complimentary festive drink at the Peahen pub from 17.30. Please let us know if you will be attending these drinks by clicking here.

Seats in the Cathedral are limited* and this event is always very popular. If you would like to attend, please don't delay booking your place. Bookings close on 29 November. If you have any questions or require disabled acess to the Cathedral, please contact us.

*Due to increasing student numbers, space in the Cathedral is limited. We hope you understand that first and foremost, this service is provided for our current pupils and their families. Seats for alumni and supporters will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. However, we will run a waiting list, and based on past experience we should be able to release a number of additional seats as and when they become available.

Please book your seat at the Service individually, as we are unable to accept group bookings. 

If you have a confirmed seat at the Service but can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can re-allocate your seat to the waiting list.
