Leaving STAHS means joining our global alumni community of nearly 3,000 former students - a diverse, talented and dynamic group who together share the unique experience of studying at the High School.
Our alumni community is here to support you as you take your next steps beyond STAHS.
As you know, the Sixth Form team at STAHS support many former students in reapplication to university, so if you need specific support about an application, do not hesitate to contact Mrs Monighan in the first instance.
If you are still making decisions about university destination or course, please contact us as we may be able to help put you in touch with an alumna who could share their experiences with you.
Update your university information
If you go on to further study, please update your profile on the alumni portal so we know where you are studying and your course. We may contact you to ask if you'd mind sharing your university experience with future Sixth Formers.
And please stay in touch and let us know how you are doing - we love to hear from our recent leavers!
Being a STAHS alumna means you have unique access to our STAHS mentoring network. Many alumni have volunteered to be 'mentors' to share their university experience, or give tips about their career. You can search for alumni at a specific university or in an industry of interest, then contact them through the portal.
Alternatively, contact us and we can help put you in touch with an alumna with relevant experience.
Careers events
We hold regular careers talks for alumni, inviting some of our talented and experienced former students to discuss their careers, as well as industry-specific dinners. Join the alumni portal to update your contact details and ensure you receive your invitations these events. If you missed any of our recent careers talks, you can watch them in our Video Library.

Class of 2024 Christmas reunion drinks
In December 2024 we will be holding Christmas drinks for the Class of 2024, likely to be in a St Albans pub. Details will be sent to you by email later in the year.
Year group reunions
We organise year group reunions for milestone anniversary years - 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 years since leaving school. We are also happy to help organise an ad-hoc reunion if you and a group of your friends are keen. Please contact us to discuss plans.
