OWLs Lunch 2026

The atmosphere was a filled with laughter, stories and fond memories as old friends and former colleagues shared moments from the past and caught up on the present.

On Wednesday 25 March it was wonderful to welcome back to STAHS just under 40 of our alumni for our annual OWLs Lunch. Guests included some familiar faces and regular attendees, and also some alumni who came to the event for the first time having not been back to School for over 40 years.

The weather gave us sunshine, wind and a dramatic hail storm but spirits were not dampened, and guests enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch whilst catching up with each other.  After lunch we were joined by Head of STAHS Senior, Ann Massey, who addressed guests about school life today. It was Ann's first time at the OWLs Lunch since taking up her role and she shared her experiences of STAHS so far before enjoying chatting to many guests individually.

Guests then joined tours of the School which included a visit to the newly refurbished No 2 and No 4 Townsend Avenue, which have been developed from administrative offices to six new state of the art classrooms and departmental spaces.
