Reunions |
Golden sunshine and timeless bonds.
Under bright blue skies and golden sunshine, we welcomed back alumni from the classes of 1975, 1985, 1995, 2005, 2015 and 2020 for a truly unforgettable reunion. The school was alive with laughter, warm embraces and the joyful hum of shared memories as generations of former students reconnected with old friends and relived the days that shaped them.
The celebrations began with a delightful Prosecco reception, followed by a heartfelt welcome from our new Head of STAHS Senior, Ann Massey, who delivered an inspiring address to alumni guests. With genuine warmth and enthusiasm, she spoke of the exciting future ahead for STAHS and her deep commitment to building strong bonds with our alumni community. " Our alumni are a vital part of the school fabric, and I look forward to getting to know each of you as we move forward together".
Speeches from the our Yr 12 Deputy Heads of School, Tolu and Sophie, gave a wonderful insight into daily life at STAHS today. They spoke with confidence, humour and pride, sharing what it means to be a student in the modern day school. Their words were a powerful reminder of how much the school has evolved, yet at heart remains unchanged with its magical spirit. They spoke movingly about how the alumni community continues to inspire them, shaping their ambitions and showing what’s possible beyond school walls.
Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch, which provided the perfect setting for stories to flow and laughter to echo across the hall. Following lunch, our photographer captured the spirit of the day with Class photos, providing a wonderful keepsake for all and a chance to commemorate this special gathering. Guided tours around the school offered a further glimpse into vibrant daily life, with alumni exploring familiar spaces and exciting new developments. Alumni were amazed at how much had changed and how much still felt wonderfully familiar.
As the day came to a close, farewells were exchanged and promises to return soon. The reunion wasn’t just a celebration of the past; it was a joyful affirmation of the lifelong connection shared by all members of the STAHS family. Here’s to cherished memories and continued connections.
